H.E. Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal,  Aamir Khan, deeply appreciated the efforts of DG ICIMOD, NDRRMA Nepal and H.E Swiss Amb Nepal in organizing a roundtable discussion on lessons from the Rasuwa–Kyirong disaster and preparedness for cascading hazards in high-mountain regions.

He emphasized the critical importance of climate financing, regional cooperation and preparedness for sustainable and resilient rebuilding.
