So, it’s again China to Pakistan’s Rescue, this time with its top Electric Vehicle company, BYD, planning car plant in Karachi, while 100 of our own factories in Faisalabad face closure & no Western foreign investment yet! Pakistan’s policymakers, who are often fumbling, floundering & dithering on key strategic issues, should realise this fundamental reality: Pakistan’s future lies in Asia & in our region, & they better stop looking for distant Godfathers in the West to again bail them out!
