This S. Jayashankar- Secretary for Ministry of Indian External Affairs had threatened when he landed Kathmandu last time while meeting the Nepali leaders, reveals communist veteran Narayan Man Bijukche ‘Rohit’.

Rohit claimed that the Nepali leaders were taken aback when Jayashankar made the threatening remark while ordering them to either stop the constitution drafting process or face the music. Rohit made the tantalizing revelation in his recent interview with a local television channel in Kathmandu.

Rohit made the remark without naming the leaders – who were threatened by Jayashankar.

He however, claimed that in his fresh meeting with Prime Minister Koirala, he had advised the Prime Minister to formally reveal this to the general public through the parliament.

Rohit said, “Jayashankar had told our leaders that he will bring 4 million Indians along the border. He had threatened them to stop the constitution drafting process. I came to know about this and in my meeting with the Prime Minister I urged him to make this public because they hold the right to know what the Indians have been doing.”  

The Chairman of Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party also claimed that ‘Tikapur incident where eight police personnel and a child were killed too was plotted by India’.

“I had received a phone call from one of my sources two hours prior to the incident that something bad was going to happen in Tikapur. I had immediately conveyed this to the Nepali Congress and UML leaders,” says Bijukche.
