१२ मंगलबार , आश्विन २०७२१० बर्ष अगाडि

Chairman Mohan Baidya Kiran of Nepal Communist Party Maoist met with Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Wu Chuntai. The meeting took place at the Maoist party headquarters in Kathmandu, September 29, 2015.

Discussion between the two focused on prevailing political situation in the country in general and in particular chaotic situation in Nepal’s Tarai districts adjoining India. They also discussed ways to enhance relationship between the party headed by Baidya and the communist party of China, disclosed party secretary Dev Gurung.

Ambassador Wu claimed that Nepal’s political parties were themselves capable of resolving their internal issues. And, he was particularly concerned over ‘undeclared economic blockade’ imposed by Nepal’s southern neighbour India on Nepal and progress made on unity between the party headed by Baidya and Unified Maoists Party.

Chairman Baidya requested the Chinese Ambassador to give priority to opening Nepal’s border with China in the wake of the blockade imposed by India.
