Netra Bikram Chand aka Biplav has urged his party cadres to strongly reject the idea of identity/ethnicity based federal order. This is something…isn’t it!

Addressing the concluding session of the first national convention of the newly established Nepal Communist Party Maoist in Tulsipur of Dang said the communist leader, “I urge you all not to go after the demand for Ethnicity/Identity based Federal order because it will lead to communal clashes in the country.”

He also alleged the western powers (EU Nations and the United States) of fueling communal discord in the country in the name of ethnicity based federal order.

“The western powers have poured money in our country to fuel communal discord,” he said.

The demand for ethnic federalism, as I see it, said Biplav, possesses the force to eventually goad the country towards disintegration.

“Without class struggle, ethnic liberation is impossible,” he said and added, “I can see that the ethnicity based federalism will fuel communal discord and push the country to disintegration.”

“Communal demands are being raised with the money from NGOs and INGOs. I sincerely request you not to go after such demands,” he said while replying to queries raised by his cadres.

“It is indeed very sad to see that communist leaders are themselves raising racial demands,” he said and added, “Ashok Rai who served the communist party throughout his political career is going after the NGO money.”

“This is disastrous,” he concluded. Better late than never!

He also said that the parties led by Pushpa Kamal and Mohan Baidya have both fallen prey to the Western conspiracy to fuel communal discord in Nepal.
