The Nepali Congress Central Committee member Ms. Sujata Koirala has declared that she will on her own take needed initiatives to rehabilitate people in eleven villages of earthquake ravaged districts of the country.
 

Addressing a press meet in Biratnagar, May 4, 2015 Koirala declared that the GP Koirala Foundation will engage in rebuilding houses in eleven villages of eleven earthquake ravaged districts.

Sujata presently heads the foundation named after her father and erstwhile president of Nepali Congress Girija Prasad Koirala.

More interestingly, Koirala disclosed that the Government of China has allocated huge fund for the Foundation though she did not reveal the amount details.

Another serious jolt to Girija Prasad’s country of birth, India.

To recall, India, unfortunately takes China as its enemy number one. George Fernandez- a former defense minister of India and senior leader Mulayama Singh Yadav of the state of Uttar Pradesh had claimed that ‘China was India’s enemy number one’.

“The foundation will construct small towns in those villages with all the basic amenities required for people living there,” she declared and added, “We will construct homes, carryout electrification, provide clean drinking water, ensure basic health facilities and education.”

She did not however reveal entire details of her plan.
