The third largest party in the parliament and a major constituent of the coalition government, Unified Maoists Party has heavily criticized the performance of the government headed by United Marxist Leninist Chairman and Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Oli.

Majority of the party standing committee members analyzing the performance of the government had criticized the performance of the members of cabinet. They also opined that there clearly lacks coordination between the parties in government. They did not also spare the party leaders currently in the government.

The meeting was held at the party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s private residence in Lazimpat, Kathmandu.

“We are not only dissatisfied with the performance of the parties currently in government”, so said vice Chairman Narayan Kaji Shrestha and continued, “Our main concern is over the performance of our party leaders who are in the government”.

Speaking on behalf of the leaders represented in the government Depputy Prime Minister Top Bahadur Rayamaji says, “We are selected by the party to serve in the government. The party is always free to evaluate our performance. However, not everything has gone wrong. And, time is not still appropriate to evaluate our performance”.

Chairman Pushpa Kamal is scheduled to speak on the matter today.
