Matrika Yadav- coordinator of Nepal Communist Party Maoist claims that the ongoing protest led by Madheh based parties is a ‘drama of the highest order’.

Addressing a program in Birgunj of Parsa district, Yadav stressed that the outcome of the ongoing agitation is going to be a cipher.

“What is the outcome of the agitation”, he asked and continued, “It has been more than five months since the agitating is continuing. This is not the way one conducts an agitation. The agitating leaders and their cadres are all frustrated.”

“The protest being held at the no man’s land is nothing more than a drama. They are stopping flow of essential goods but, during the night they are themselves moving them to other parts of the country. They are engaged in black marketing”, he says and adds, “The agitators are extorting industrialists.”

Behind the agitation, said Yadav, hidden agenda is to loot Madhesh.

Upendra Yadav, Mahanta Thakur, Rajendra Mahato and Mahendra Yadav, they all want to loot Madhesh, he iterated.

He also claimed that he does not support the idea of creating two states in the Tarai region. “Entire Madhesh should be one single province.”

“We have no objection over those Pahadi population who have already settled in Madhesh. We will allow no Pahadiya population to settle in Madhesh now onwards.”
