On March 4, Juche113(2024), a statement of the spokesman for the Ministry of National Defence of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea was released to condemn the US-led war maniacs for driving the unstable security environment of the Korean peninsula region to the furthest extremes by making the gravest anti-DPRK war moves of aggression. 

Entering this year the US and the ROK have opened another provocative large-scale joint military drill involving a field maneuver plan doubled as compared against last year and even 11 satellite countries affiliated with the so-called "UN Command" which has no ground nor justification for its existence, thus augmenting unpredictability of the situation in the region under ceasefire.

The DPRK has enlisted a large contingent into the theatre of economic construction for the promotion of the people's well-being. The frantic war-game rackets of the aggressive forces being approached in a sharp contrast with the above-said reality of the DPRK, clearly indicate what is the root cause of the instability of the region and who really poses nuclear threats to the humanity.

As you might be well aware, an enormous war drill being conducted by the US, the biggest nuclear weapon state in the world, in collusion with over ten vassal countries, against one country in the Korean peninsula region, where a sparkle of fire can lead to a nuclear war, can never be considered "defensive".

Expressing sincere gratitude to all the comrades and friends for their solid support and encouragement to the unyielding Korean people in their righteous struggle to defend peace and security of the region and the rest of the world, we 'd like to strongly call upon you for solidarity movements to oppose the US and its followers hell-bent on the aggressive attempts to plunge the earth into a nuclear catastrophe, and to thoroughly ensure peace for the good of humankind and our posterity.
