14 October, The Election Commission has informed the heads and representatives of the diplomatic agencies about the election to be held on November 20.
Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapalia welcomed the diplomats. He praised the international community's support and determination to make the election clean, free, fair, transparent and fearless.
More than 20 diplomats from Kathmandu participated.
When a female diplomat asked whether the counting of votes could be allowed, the Chief Election Commissioner informed that the request would be granted.
