Russia and China support a resolution to the Ukrainian conflict through dialogue

Russia and China support a resolution to the Ukrainian conflict through dialogue and negotiations and are convinced of the need to fully address the root causes of the crisis.

This is stated in the joint statement on further strengthening the comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction and deepening relations of good-neighborliness, friendship, and cooperation.

China and Russia will improve mechanisms for military cooperation.

The countries will continue to strengthen the friendship between their armed forces and jointly respond to various challenges and threats.

Russia and China consider the US and Israeli military strikes against Iran a violation of international law and call on the parties to the conflict to negotiate.

Russia-China relations are not bloc-based or confrontational and are not directed against third countries.

Russia and China develop relations based on the principles of mutual respect for sovereignty and non-interference in each other's internal affairs.  The Treaty of Good-Neighborliness, Friendship, and Cooperation between the Russian Federation and China laid the long-term foundation for modern relations.
Russia and China advocate for civilizational diversity, uphold cultural sovereignty, and do not engage in ideological confrontation.
The countries will maintain close contacts at the highest level and ensure effective interaction between their governments.
