Holocaust survivor Ms Sara pointed out that the continued efforts of all was essential in order to protect the society, country and the world from the devastation of a war while referring to the murder of nearly 6 million Jews during the holocaust years of 1941-1945.
Born in Poland, Ms Sara was freed from a concentration camp when she was 12 years old. She then played a part in the founding of Israel and also joined the security force. Sara came to Nepal to be part of the week-long programme organized to mark the International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust.

This exhibition will be a great opportunity to learn about the Holocaust – the systematic, bureaucratic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of six million Jews by the Nazi regime and its collaborators during 1930s and 1940s.
