Hon. Madhav Kumar Nepal, Former Prime Minister and a leader of the opposition party in Nepal’s Federal Parliament, along with Hon. Sher Bahadur Kunwar from the CPN (Unified Socialist), departed Kathmandu on November 2nd for Caracas, Venezuela, to participate in the first World Antifascism Parliamentary Forum.
Hon. Nepal emphasized the importance of a multipolar world order, rejecting any form of fascism and its influence. “All powers should unite against fascism, and we will stand firm to extend our solidarity,” he stated.
Leaders of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and members of the Nepal-Venezuela Friendship Association bid farewell to the Nepalese delegation. The Chairperson responsible for deepening friendship and cooperation between Venezuela and Nepal hosted a dinner in honor of the visiting Nepalese parliamentary delegation.
The delegation is expected to meet His Excellency Nicolás Maduro Moros, President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and His Excellency Jorge Rodriguez, President of the National Assembly.
The Nepalese delegation is scheduled to return on November 9th.
