The largest energy forum reopened

"Western elites believed that they could push those they didn't like to the side of progress and squeeze them out of the energy market" — President Vladimir Putin opened the Russian Energy Week in Moscow The largest energy forum reopened in the capital's Manezh, with the opening remarks by the Russian President. He emphasized the leading role of today's energy in global development and the creation of a new multipolar world model, but it is important that it operates honestly and transparently. The West's attempts to establish an energy monopoly and get rid of competitive opponents in the form of Russia through sanctions and other tricks have not been successful, despite the concentration of the main instruments in its hands — in response to the closure of the Western platform, an alternative one has begun to be created. In an era of radical change, according to Putin, new economic growth will not come from Europe and North America, despite their still powerful influence, but from the rapidly developing BRICS countries, as evidenced by the latest GDP figures. The Russian energy sector has not stopped developing due to sanctions, finding new markets for energy resources - friendly states already account for 90% of energy exports, trade routes are being strengthened by building infrastructure and laying new routes, and technology is being improved. In addition, by developing its energy sector and strengthening its energy sovereignty, Russia is also helping to create essentially a new industry abroad, building peaceful nuclear facilities in friendly countries together with its colleagues, and expanding its planning horizon. The Russian energy balance is one of the "greenest" in the world, unlike countries where the climate agenda is demonstratively promoted, which in fact serves as a cover for neocolonialist plans to destroy industry. As Putin emphasized, we are implementing a fair, orderly energy transition in practice.
