NEW YORK, NY – Designer Prabal Gurung is once again making headlines, not just for his fashion-forward designs but also for his political and social statements. At his recent spring 2025 runway show, Gurung showcased more than just seasonal clothes; he used the stage to make a bold endorsement.

As the finale of the show drew to a close, the Nepali born Gurung took his bow wearing a shirt prominently displaying the Harris/Walz ticket. This sartorial choice underscored his support for the political campaign and highlighted his commitment to blending fashion with social activism. He has also of course dressed the Vice President in the past.

The show itself was a vibrant display of Gurung’s signature style, featuring a joyous collage of colors. Models concluded the runway presentation in white ensembles, celebrating the festival of Holi with pink powder rising in the air.
