he recalled the 2019 visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Kathmandu and the consensus then reached to build trans-Himalayan rail connectivity. More trading points between Nepal and China have been opened, providing relief to the people of the border areas.

China wants Nepal to advance the plan through BRI. It is said that the Prime Minister has assured that the BRI will be clear soon.
