The 112th birth anniversary of the great leader of the Korean people President Kim Il Sung is celebrated by paying homage at the central party office of CPN ML. On this occasion, on behalf of the Nepal - Korea Friendship Association, Nepal Journalists Association and CPN ML, congratulations have been sent to His Excellency Kim Jong UN, the present leader who followed the same path as followed by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, wishing him success, praising his patriotism and saying that Kim Il Sung will be immortal.
Also an international conference on Kim Il Sung's ideology Juche Idea is being held in Pyongyang from April 12 to 18. In this conference, a team of 3 led by Subash Kaji Shrestha, Kapil Lama and Mukti Pradhan and Shankar Bharti, a follower of Sangun policy literature, went to DPR Korea on behalf of Nepal. The main conference will be held on April 14.
It is understood that the friends of DPR Korea, including Maitri Sangh's president CP Mainali, Patron Hon. Madhav Kumar Nepal, general secretary Phanindra Pant, will go to the next program to be held in August.
It is to be remembered that the embassy of DPRK in Nepal was closed at the time when there was a communist-led government in Nepal. This year, the diplomatic relations between Nepal and DPR Korea since May 15, 1974 have narrowed. It is a matter of surprise that the communists of Nepal are not troubled by the fact that 50 years of relations have not been encouraging.
Kathmandu, April 10:   Nepal National Preparatory Committee to celebrate the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star, Nepal Journalists Association and the Central Office of the Communist Party of Nepal (Marxist-Leibist) jointly organized a talk program on the occasion of the Day of the Sun, the 112th Birthday of President KIM IL SUNG.
Chairman CP Mainali and Kumar Belwase, Manjuratna Shakya, RPP leader Chiragman Singh Kuwar said in the program - the independence struggle against the Japanese colonial rule, political independence, and self-reliant defense policy put forward by President KIM IL SUNG. They wished His Excellency KIM JONG UN to carry out the Juche cause successfully in achieving the final goal of the Korean Revolution, the lifelong desire of President KIM IL SUNG.
Chairman C. P. Mainali further said -”President KIM IL SUNG always used to say- People are my God! Whatever the President did was for his God and the happiness of God!”
Secretary Mr. PR Pant, the Master of the Ceremony, offering gratitudes to the participants, briefed the importance of the Day of the Sun and the immortal contribution of President KIM IL SUNG for the emancipation of mankind and their dignity.

A letter to His Excellency KIM JONG UN was adopted unanimously on behalf of the participants of the function of the Day of the Sun!
