Kathmandu, February 16: The Salt Trading Corporation Limited has published the financial statement for the second quarter of the current year. According to the financial statement, the Corporation earned a profit of 35.8 million rupees in the second quarter.

This profit is an increase of 90.16% compared to the second quarter of last year. During that period, the company earned a profit of Rs. 1 crore, 88 lakh rupees. In the current year, the increase in sales income of the Corporation has helped to increase profit. Last year, the Corporation’s income was Rs. 3 billion, 45 crores, increased in the current year to Rs 6 billion 69 million.

The Corporation having a paid-up capital worth Rs. 27 crore 88 lakhs, has secured above Rs 1 billion 35 million as reserved funds. During that period, the company’s per-share income (annually) is 25 rupees 69 paisa, and per-share net worth is 419 rupees 35 paisa.
