This is perhaps for the first time Nepal’s parliamentarians have dared to ask the government to declare the Indian envoy persona non grata. Two parliamentarians belonging to Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party had made the demands before the government.
India’s interference on our internal matters and lately, the inhumane blockade has pushed the nation to the brink, said parliamentarian Prem Suwal talking to Nagarik National Daily and he added, in Sunsari the Indian SSB opened fired at the Nepali citizens…the Indian ambassador denied it…he is a liar…he must be told to immediately leave the country.
“Ranjit Rae also invited ambassadors of other countries wherein he defended his country’s move,” he said.
“Our demand to send him back home is as a mark of protest against India’s inhumane act to impose blockade on our country,” said Suwal.
Suwal also demanded all previous agreements made with India to share Nepal’s rivers such as Koshi, Gandak, Mahakali and upper Karnali scrapped immediately and relationshi.
PS: In fact, the Indian envoy has exceeded his dipolomatic limits and thus deseerves the PNG status. He is damaging the bilateral relations to a point of no return. Atteention Indian external affairs ministry.
