New Parliament inauguration in India

१६ मंगलबार , जेठ २०८०एक बर्ष अगाडि

Indian PM Modi recently inaugurated the controversial new parliament building. 19 opposition political parties boycotted and protested the opening ceremony, saying Parliament "cannot function" without the President and calling Modi's prominent role in the ceremony a "direct attack" on India's democracy.
The statement said that when the spirit of democracy has been removed from Parliament, we do not see the importance of a new building.
Outrage escalated in 2021, when it emerged that construction on the site was considered an "essential service" and thus exempted from the city-wide Covid-19 lockdown.  It meant Parliament continued to work as a devastating second coronavirus wave pushed hospitals to breaking point and sent people on the streets begging for oxygen.  Prime Minister Modi has deviated from the traditions of democracy by inaugurating it.
Now India has also displayed the map of the so-called "Akhand Bharat" in the Parliament. After encroaching Nepali lands of Kalapani and Susta, this map has also included the names of many areas of Nepal including Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautama Buddha and Kapilvastu, and it should be remembered that India has been falsely claiming that Lord Buddha was born there which the history authenticatethe Lord Buddhawas born in Nepal. Along with this, some Buddhism significance areas of Pakistan including Taxila has also been included in this so-called map of "Akhand Bharat".  After this move of India, there is a lot of anger among public, political leaders, government servants, lawyers and journalistic circles of Nepal. Former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and other politicians have criticized this Indian act which reflects its expansionist mind set.
