Biratnagar: Unquestionably, the United States of America as a recognized world power, it is believed, tames or influences the world politics to the extent that it at times makes or even breaks the government across the globe and champions the cause of democracy and press freedom.

The US is best known if for democracy and freedom of expression worldwide.

The USA also is also recognized as a country that shapes the politics of smaller countries as per its choice and the smaller countries beamingly welcome the USs penetration/pressure in its politics presuming that democratic system would replace the previous notorious regimes near and far.

The US infiltration, as the US nationals claim, in countries across the globe were to institutionalize democratic system and nothing else.

In plain words, the US is taken largely as “messiah” by the least developing smaller countries and hope that the US presence in their political affairs, even in an oblique manner, will yield better results and the country will have streamlined democratic system of governance in the countries concerned.

Others say that the US in one way or the other enters into the politics of smaller countries with intents unknown.
To put it even in simpler terms, least developing countries take America as a role model in its state-to-state relations.
However, the Americans presumably are at loss in Nepal since the grand and shameful revelation that “several hundreds or even thousands” of fake Bhutanese refugees in Nepal too are suspected to have been accepted by the US government under a scheme designed bilaterally by Nepal and the US some years ago.

The first lot of refugees was genuine ‘persons in exile’ hopefully, however, given the things that stand as of today while writing this “shameful story”, let’s presume that the Nepali State itself might have duped the most powerful country on earth-America in an “Organized” manner.

This attracts the US laws. The US must take it seriously.

By this time, the genuine Bhutanese refugees of Nepali origin have already become the US citizens and are hopefully living in the wonderland in a peaceful manner.

The repatriated Bhutanese refugees to the US, previously languishing in Nepal for several decades, found a new home away from home in the USA, and I have seen some while being in the US, living a peaceful and healthy life free of tensions- both politically and socially.

However, the US did accept the Bhutanese refugees in thousands in its territory from Nepal with a compassionate intent or say on charitable grounds without realizing that what was in “store” for the US at later dates and decades.

The US which, as is being rumored and stated also by the supporters of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, brought Captain Khan to the foot path for his landing in the Russian Federation last year February that coincided with Russian “Military operation” in Ukraine”. The US has , needless to say, the capabilities to challenge yet another world power-China was seemingly challenged politically by the Nepali leaders whom , to a greater extent elevated and brought to prominence in Nepal jointly by India and the US in the early 1990 presuming the “elevated” ones will champion the case of democracy and freedom of expression as demanded by the “third wave of democracy” as hinted by Professor Samuel P Huntington-who was an American political scientist, adviser, and academic and he spent more than half a century at Harvard University, where he was director of Harvard’s Center for International Affairs.

The US thus stands betrayed by the Nepal’s ruling elites from among the Nepali Congress and the UML top hats.
Professor Dr. Larry Diamond at the Stanford University too during his visit to Kathmandu in the early 1990s gave several lectures on Democracy with a hope that the leaders will institutionalize democracy in Nepal as against the so called “authoritarian rule” of the then Constitutional Monarch-King Birendra who was himself a democrat.

King Birendra had studied at the Harvard University, USA.

The US which, I recall, instructed it’s the then Ambassador to Nepal, Ms. Julia Chang Bloch (an American of Chinese descent) in the early 1990s to meet the newly emerged so called democratic leaders (to which they were not) in order to inject the virtues and the universal of the democratic system.

To the extent that Ambassador Bloch even is talked to have tied the nuptial bonds of the NC emerging leader.Sher Bdr. Deuba with Ms. Arjoo Rana hoping that the couple shall for all time to come remain true to the universal values of democratic system in Nepal.

However, what was the main objective of the US in this tie-up is yet unknown.

However, contrary to Ambassador Bloch’s and the USs belief, the Nepali Congress couple seemingly have hit the media headlines for having amassed billions and billions by engaging in the “export of fake Bhutanese refugees” to Nepal.

Puzzling is that the fake Bhutanese refugees high voltage scam thus being “exported” to the US was a State sponsored act in order to amass wealth and in doing so, the US laws were hit hard or say challenged.

The idea was to form a “Government commission and include or insert the names of Nepalese as Bhutanese refugee and talk to the US government that a few hundred names were left while sending the first lot of the same to the US”.
Asking Nepali Rupees from five hundred thousand up to fifty lakhs ( approx 5, 000 US $ to 35 000 US$) per person were being exported to the US and some Chinese nationals too were added in the list who were to be sent to the US under Nepal government’s report submitted by the Commission”.

A grand disloyalty that it is to the US for sure. How the US will tolerate this grand perfidy?

The men presumed to have cheated the US are mainly from the Nepali Congress, the UML and the Maoists too.
Some high flying NC and UML officials have already been nabbed.

Interestingly, as the investigation as per the direct intervention of the US is in progress, the one who is exhibiting his fear stricken irritation and uneasy behavior is Khadga Prasad Oli-strongly believed to be the one who primarily during his Premiership had first invented the idea of forming a state led commission to assure the US that in effect the Bhutanese refugees were left to be sent to the US.

However, this remains yet to be substantiated as the investigations are going on.

Mrs. Arjoo Rana Deuba from the NC is talked to the “ring leader” which is what has surprised the very genius brains of the US officials as Mrs. Deuba was being taken as a lady close to the US since the early 1990.

Bal Krishna Khand-one NC leader who headed the Home Ministry upon his arrest is learnt to have told the Policemen not to spare SB Deuba and his consort-Mrs. Arjoo Rana.

No wonder, Me. Khand’s wife Mrs Manju is at large and reportedly flew to Australia under the protection of some high flying police officials.

Top Bahadur Raymajhi, one of the General Secretary of the thug communists party-the UML too has been arrested, though late, along with his son.

He entered into the Police custody as if he was visiting his maternal uncle’s house for amusement.

Thus both father and son are now in police custody. Mr. Top Bahadur was formerly a Maoists leader who later switched to the UML party with a hope that he will amass wealth if he becomes the disciple of KP Oli who himself is the disciple of RAW Chief in Delhi-Samanta Kumar Goyal.

KP. Oli has direct contact with Indian RAW machinery and Mr. Goyal seemingly is his Indian mentor.

Not backed up reports say that the Koirala’s from Biratnagar too have their engagement in this fake Bhutanese refugee scam that was designed itself by the Nepali Congress men with the tacit collaboration of the UML-the so called communist party that it is hundred percent not.

High placed sources claim that the fresh “forged” Bhutanese refugee indignity was unearthed and got publicized only when the US diplomatic mission under Ambassador Dean R. Thompson took serious interest.

It is only because of Ambassador Dean R. Thompson’s “excessive diplomatic pressure” that the issue of “International shame of Nepal” got publicized or else the billions and billions of money that the Nepali leaders ( some are close to the US itself) would have gulped and the scandal easily buried.

Thanks the US mission in Kathmandu that the issue of “state sponsored human trafficking” has hit the country and the issue itself taken moreover a different and frightening political dimension.

Former Maoists leader Ram Bahadur Thapa “Badal” switched his allegiance from Maoists to the UML and was awarded with General Secretary Post by the UML led by KP. Sharma Oli who apparently gave birth to this idea of exporting Nepali nationals to the US as fake Bhutanese refugees for hefty amounts.

Police sources say that Ram Bahadur’s son, Pratik Thapa is already in police custody with the strong rumors that former Vice President, Nand Bahadur Pun’s son, Dipesh pun too is the suspect.

Notably, the uneasiness that has gripped former PM Oli after the intermittent arrests of Nepali leaders has forced KP Oli to pull his hairs for some mysterious reasons.

It is this uneasiness that has compelled a fear wounded KP. Oli to send warning signals to the sitting Nepal Prime Minister P. K. Dahal that he would also wish to open the files of the “Maoists Cantonment embezzlement” which if opened would expose PM Dahal aka Prachanda and establish him as number one corrupt person in Nepal.

It is this Oli fear that PM Dahal has reportedly slowed down the speed of the Nepal policemen engaged in uncovering the “sharks and whales” involved actively in the aforementioned “Human Trafficking business”.

But will the US allow the speed to slowdown?

The US which encouraged some Nepali leaders to grow and work for the institutionalization of democratic system in Nepal as against King Birendra’s rule, were primarily looters who not only cheated and betrayed the US but proved themselves to have been “money spinners” and that they understand power of money only and that have had no connections with democratic system or whatsoever.

Its upshot would be that these political burglars who awarded much weight to the money power instead of the flourishing of the System of the USs choice and preference of the early 1990s.

The culprits supposedly are as substantiated by the strong rumors, Home Minister Khand, his wife

Mrs. Manju Khand, Former PM Sher Bahadur Deuba and Arjoo Rana Deuba, home secretary Tek Bahadur Pandey, the Chief of abuse of Authority Mr. Prem Rai, Top Nahadur Raymajhi, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa Badal and his illustrious son Pratik Thapa, INdrajeet Rai-the security advisor at the home ministry, the son of Vice President Nand Bahadur Pun and Former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and his wife Mrs. Radhika Devi Shakya.

In addition, several NC leaders too have their share in this human trafficking business. Some more names are expected if the police is allowed to work without string attached.

The cabal of the Home Ministry high flying officials, including the Home Secretary, were found to have engaged themselves in this business and thus demands the “ American Administration’s immediate attention” who have challenged the USs existing laws.

Legal eagles in Nepal opine that it is a crime that is equivalent to an organized-State-Sponsored-Human-Trafficking as Nepal’s home ministry is directly involved in this felony.

Kathmandu based diplomatic sources claim that only when the US Mission in Kathmandu expressed its anger and dismay, the Human Trafficking trade came to light.

This shameful event, as it stands now, demands the summary trial of all those involved in this scam.

The US must act as the whole affair attracts the US law. It is a challenge to the US itself and to the existing laws of the mighty world power.

We believe that this issue should attract the attention of the International Criminal Court based in The Hague, the Netherlands through the US administration if it so desires.

Yet, the US too is in one way or the other remains answerable for having encouraged the duffer Nepali congress and the thug communists in the name of institutionalization of democracy in Nepal.

Sources say that Mrs. Deuba procured billions and billions of Nepali rupees to which she forcefully denies.

The US Ambassador James F. Moriarty, I recall, organizing a press conference in February 2006 had bluntly speculated that the 12 point agreement signed in Delhi would bring the Nepal’s so called democratic leaders to its fold rather than the otherwise as was claimed by subservient Girija Prasad Koirala-the declared man of Indian regime.

The fact is that the Maoists sunk the so called democratic leaders, including the UML communists, in the pond of international corruption which is being aired by several international media agencies condemning the Human Trafficking trade.

Ambassador Moriarty was the one who speculated in advance that all will be not well with Nepal’s democratic system decades later.

Conclusion: The State sponsored Human Trafficking trade that has hit the international media headlines is a matter of Himalayan shame on the face of so called Democratic leaders of Nepal who proved that they stood for money spinning trade even it involved Human Trafficking.

And the general half educated lured Nepali nationals did away with the real King only to install thousands of fake Kings in Nepal who in the name of “democracy” have been cheating the domestic population.

This deceitful actions stretched up to even betraying the US Administration finally.

Rumors are afloat which hints that the ruling elites may hush-hush the matter as usual. Thus the US must continue to exert pressure so that the real culprits are behind the bars.

The US, if it so likes, may blacklist all these Nepali leaders once and for all who were involved in the Refugee scam. The US may also like to nullify the USs Permanent Residency of “some” who may have in their possession. The cheaters and the corrupts must not have any soft corner in the US eyes.
