
The Kantipur Online reports quoting sources that following Nepal and China recently reached a 20-Point Agreement in Kathmandu to increase the number of border trade points between the two countries, the provincial government of Tibet is speeding up administrative tasks to implement several projects on both the sides of the border.
While expressing happiness over the freshly reached deal, we have been informed that Lobsang has issued orders to immediately take needed steps to enhance trade between the two countries, spokesperson at the custom department, Surya Sedhai told Kantipur.
The Nepali and Chinese officials in Kathmandu reached an agreement, Thursday November 5, 2015 to work towards opening new trade points: Kimathanka of Sankhuwasabha, Karola of Mustang, Olangchungola of Taplejung, Larke of Gorkha, Yari of Humla, Lamabagar of Dolakha districts and a border point in Mugu district.
The agreement was reached at the 28th Nepal-China Annual Border Customs meeting aimed at custom harmonization and trade facilitation.
