Nepal: Protest await Indian sage PM Modi in London

१८ बुधबार , कार्तिक २०७२१० बर्ष अगाडि

Virendra Kumar Sharma-a British opposition Labour Party politician and a Member of Parliament who heads Nepal and India desk of an all parliamentary committee has through a formal letter requested British Prime Minister David Cameroon to resolve problems faced by Nepal due to economic blockade imposed by India.

Keep it up sir.

In the letter directed to the British Prime Minister, Sharma has urged the government to raise Nepal related issues with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is scheduled to make a formal trip to the UK next week.

Better do not allow him to land in UK if possible. Raise the Godhara Killing in Gujarat.

Sharma had informed about the letter he sent to the Prime Minister addressing a program held at the Nepal Embassy in London.

While Sharma divulged several facets of Nepal India relations, he also urged the Indian leadership not to destroy historical relations between the two countries.

Another British member of the parliament Bob Blackman speaking at the program claimed that his country should learn from Nepal as the Himalayan nation has guaranteed 33% women participation in the parliament through its newly promulgated constitution whereas there are only 25% women in the British parliament.

In the meantime, Nepali expatriates in London have planned a protest against India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On November 12, Nepalis will gather in front of the parliament building to protest against the India imposed economic blockade on Nepal, reports Nagarik National Daily.

Modi's prestige begins taking nose dive.
