The wrongs past Kings did was they did no wrong

Biratnagar: A very unusual but yet a false narrative is being floated across the nation that “ the wrongs” that still prevails in Nepal even after the most inauspicious ouster of Nepali monarchy and with the advent of the “so called Republican Order” is all but the previous “blunders” committed in series by the Kings of Nepal.

The Kings of Nepal summarily are being held responsible for all the ills that confront the nation even after the India imposed Republican Order in Nepal.

The “Indian element” in the ills is being neglected purposefully.

This is loaded with meaning underneath.

The accounts not only brings the truth though in a partial manner, as defined by some interested quarters, but the anecdote hurls several allegations on the institution of the Nepali Monarchy claiming that “the unequal Nepal-India Friendship” too in essence have had its origin in the lapses made by the monarchs since decades and decades.

Differing opinions must be respected and honored. This is the beauty of democracy wherein freedom of speech or for that matter expression must be duly recognized/appreciated.

Having listened patiently to a variety of differing explanations against the deposed monarchy, thus one gets tempted to ask the political men in shade if their interpretations are still valid given the deteriorating social and economic order in the country.

Has the country improved from the lapses claimed to be caused by the presence of the monarchy?
Has Nepal’s international prestige in the comity of nations more so in neighboring countries improved for the better after the ouster of the monarchy?

The fact is that a Nepali envoy, Dr. Shankar Sharma posted in Delhi-the mecca of Nepali politics, has waited for almost two years but yet he is still not a full fledged Nepali envoy for India.

The same is true with Nepali envoy in Beijing who too has been ignored by Chinese foreign ministry.

All these sad events apparently suggest that things have not improved even after the ouster of Nepali monarchy. But why?

Has the country which used to be “under the inescapable grip” of India come out from the clutches of the Indian regime which installed the republican order now in force?

Let’s for the sake of convenience believe to the out-of-the-sun explanations that the Kings of Nepal submitted to the mercy of the neighboring India and kept the international borders open for their personal benefits then can anyone forward any plausible reason that the “new Republican Order” has sealed or for that matter regulated the open border with India after the advent of the new Order that is in force at the moment?

Again, the piercing accusations by some having Delhi’s lens that Nepali landmass of Kalapani, Limpiyadhura and Lipulekh were submitted to India by the Kings of Nepal for their longevity in Nepal needs to be proven simply by regaining the landmass thus handed over to India by the former Kings of Nepal? Can the republican leaders get back those lost Nepali territories? The men with Delhi lens at times claim that Nepali monarchy on occasions teased and provoked India on some flimsy counts and thus encouraged the neighboring India to impose economic blockades several times in the past five decades.

I am of the knowledge that in 2015 September when the entire country (Nepal) was terribly shaken by the 7.9 jolt on the Richter Scale, the neighboring and the so called “traditional friend” India’s erratic and undisciplined Foreign Secretary S. Jay Shankar threatened the sitting Prime Minister Sushil Koirala and his cabinet colleagues to halt the “Constitution promulgation” plan indefinitely or else face the music.

The eye witness to such commanding statements was Kamal Thapa who talked to the social media. We have the video clip.

If Thapa were to believe then the Nepali leaders like Sushil Koirala (late), K. P. Oli and Prachanda all shared their views on the continued Indian dictates and collectively agreed in a close chamber that they “depend” on the mercy of the Indian regime to continue in power in Nepal.

This is just one opinion as expressed by the men ruling the system since the ouster of Nepali monarchy.
The question is thus: whether with the unceremonious dismissal of the institution of the monarchy has benefitted the nation and its beleaguered population?

If the people that were subjugated by the Monarchy for centuries can now openly claim that they belong to a Nepal that is free from Indian dictates, coercion, instructions, sermons and threats?

Have the current day leaders ruling the nation after the monarchy vanishing in the ethereal medium done justice to their people they govern?

Have the new Republican leaders established any such factory or factories as such that may have awarded employment opportunities to the fleeing youths in thousands each day?

Conversely, the massive fleeing of the Nepali youths to the Gulf countries has, the other way round, benefited the illegal Indian immigrants to fill in the shortage of the Nepali youths as it is these illegal new comers from comparatively poor India to become the genuine Nepali citizens of the country by bribing some traitor like Brahmin government officials.

Not an accusation but the fact is that of all the castes, it is the Brahmins who have excelled in the acts of corruption.
By the way, most of the Brahmins occupy cream posts in Nepal including Prime Minister, Nepali Presidency, and Speaker of the Lower House and down to all the possible official echelons.

The increasing ire against the Brahmins is not baseless, which is our own experience.

Here again, if the corrupt system handled by the former Kings allowed the Brahmins to capture all the plum posts in the government bureaucracy included then why the republican system too has failed to curb the Brahminic domination in the government’s bureaucratic structure?

Logically, the men who enjoyed benefits from the King’s system should have by now benefitted those who have been awarded shield of the Republican system. But this is absent why?

Yes! We have the answer. For a corrupt person or for that matter a corrupt and imposed system, those who are close to the leaders manning the new Order enjoy the reimbursement.

Thus system is not important. What is important and means much is the prevalence of a system based on equality and a fair distribution of the State’s bounties.

In the absence of all these fairness, no system on earth can deliver. If the King’s system failed for these shortcomings then let’s presume that the same will soon happen to the arrangement which is an alien gift to the current Republican leaders ruling the country so mercilessly that has been pressing Nepali citizens to commit suicides.

And the glaring shortcoming or say even the failure of the system now in force has resulted in the grand appearance of Durga Prasai, Balendra Sah, and Ravi Lamichaney-the three non-political men who now have overwhelmingly dominated the national politics immaterial of the fact for good or bad.

All these gentlemen emerged in National politics from nowhere.

One is talked to be a fraudster of the highest order and the other one too is not that much sacrosanct. Balendra is fighting openly against the Nepali State. Sah is taken as a rebellion against the State to which he is not.

But yet the politics of the nation is swinging around these three gentlemen simply because the already frustrated and disappointed populace demands a change for the better.

Bluntly speaking, Delhi’s Lens is so powerful and entrenched in Nepali society that for each and every political, social and economic ailment, the monarchy is taken as the main baddie.

So much so that even a day will come soon when Nepali people with Indian lens may held the King responsible for the fake and the forged educational certificates of Indian Prime Minister Modi as to have been the erratic acts of the Kings of Nepal.

A deposed Hindu King favors BJP’s Modi?

The fact is that PM Modi has many a times in the past voluntarily claimed that “I am not an educated man” and that “I could not enroll in educational institutions only because I belonged to a poor family and my mother used to work as housemaid”.

PM Modi is on record to have beamingly stated that he spent his childhood by selling tea in the Railway Station in Gujrat.

Seemingly though, there is no connection at all in between the Nepali Kings and PM Modi selling tea during his childhood days but yet “intelligent brains” dug out the connections as they have to insult and humiliate the Kings of Nepal.

Yes! The Nepali Kings committed a blunder in that they kept the international borders open and thus allowed the free travel of poor Indian nationals to enter Nepal and receive citizenship certificates with an aim to gulp the nation more or less like the Sikkim way.

How the sovereign Chogyal of Sikkim was cheated by his own man-Kazi Lendhup Dorje (later he was taken as a traitor not only in Sikkim but across the world and even equated to the Norwegian Quisling).

A slight hint to the men with Delhi’s lens in Nepal.

Keep an eye on those leaders around you, with all good intentions, who may have tacit linkages with the India’s RAW machinery and the machinery as such, for your information, is trying to Sikkimise Nepal much ahead of 2030.

The Sikkimisation process is in progress you may not notice it but if you look deeply and understand the very objective of Indian politics as to why it designed the ouster of the monarchy from Nepal then you may know for yourself that India is not a traditional friend but instead a traditional enemy of the highest order.

The rush of Indian envoy to meet FM N. P Saud the second minute and the quick messages to him from FM Shanker does speak so many things unspoken.

Thanks that the men with Delhi’s lens did not accuse Nepali Kings for the Gujrat riots of the year 2002 wherein thousands of Indian Muslims were killed almost calculatingly.

And thanks that the men of Delhi bend did not find guilty the Nepali King ( by then already deposed under an Indian scheme) that the 7.9 mega earthquake was ordered by the deposed King of Nepal.

The India I know is a regime that wants to keep Nepal tamed for an indefinite period through its paid and posted agents in Nepal.

Such paid and posted agents are available in thousands across the country.

If one were to believe Professor Sushma Acharya, the Indian spy agency-the RAW has well penetrated deep into the Nepal’s political and bureaucratic structure to the extent that the almost sacrosanct institution of the oldest Army in South Asia, the Nepal Army too has the presence of RAW moles who, we have been told, eating the Army structure like a moth.

Some even say that high placed officials in the government, police force, bureaucracy, politics and media has the deep entrenchment of the RAW agency to the extent that if an when India prefers to gulp/swallow the sovereign Nepal, it would be a matter of minutes if not seconds.

Sharp critics of the Indian highhandedness in Nepal claim that every third man in politics is a man nourished by the Indian spy agency.

Some traitors enter the RAW apparatus voluntarily for the sake of financial gains then others are tapped by the RAW Kathmandu office under the “recommendations” of a man who is already in the RAW net.

But, let’s believe, not all the apples are rotten. Some are fresh and remain yet untapped by the RAW agency.
Toeing the line of the RAW in recruiting “moles” or agents in Nepal, some other countries too have begun flexing their muscles.

For instance, it is presumed that the Chinese, the Pakistanis, the USA, the Mossad, the Saudis, Qataris and some other Oli rich countries too have begun posting highly paid agents in Nepal and receiving “key information” of the Nepali State.

In a way, the secrets that were the sole prerogative of the RAW agency only till the other day, now several aspirants have jumped into the Nepali market.

Yet India has no match in Nepal. Neither the Chinese, Pakistanis, the CIA nor any other countries can compete with the RAW penetration.

A coalition of China, Pakistani and the US needs to take a shape to compete with the Indian hegemony.

The CIA alone too can’t match the Indian RAW in Kathmandu.

Question is being asked at times as to who is not affiliated or associated with the RAW machinery?

Thus some intelligent brains in Nepal challenge the “Delhi bend” intellectuals to give it a try to “seal” the so far “open border phenomenon” in between Nepal and India to correct th blunder of Nepali kings?

For the India curved leaders, intellectuals and the media men alike, it would not be a tough job to convince India to give its positive nod to “seal” the open border. Who has the courage in Nepal to even think of sealing or for that matter regulating the open border?

If and when some one dares to do so shall either be decimated or dumped much like what King Gyanendra have had experienced himself during the India designed, manufactured and funded so called revolution which instantly brought to the power corridors the men of Indian choice to rule Nepal as Indian proxy.

What India is: # King Tribhuwan was lured to land in Delhi as against the overthrow of the Rana Oligarchy. This process immensely benefited India.

# India kept the borders open even if the 1950 treaty with India doesn’t talk of keeping the borders open. But it is greatly to the benefit of the Indians. Nepali people also marginally benefit from such open scheme.

# King Birendra bought miniature Chinese tanks and was penalized first with Economic Blockade and then an India designed movement cut the size of the sitting monarch.

# Nepal has no right or whatsoever even to raise the talk of “reviewing” the 1950 treaty suiting to the changed times.

# The sitting Prime Minister Prachanda was nourished by the Indian regime and told to act against the King Gyanendra. Prachanda was in New Delhi for a decade or even more wherein he and his core team were indoctrinated and later told to act for the ouster of the Nepali monarchy.

Things went as per the Indian preferences that were visibly assisted by the Nepali leaders with India twist.

# the candidacy of the new Nepal President Ram Chandra Poudel from the Nepali Congress camp only was announced when Indian Foreign Secretary Quatra returned to Delhi mid February from his Kathmandu tour.

An excited Poudel declared that “Lord Buddha was born in India” and that he will soon approve the Citizenship bill which will in all likelihood swell nepal with the Indian immigrants.
For the accomplishments of preliminary matters regarding the issue mentioned earlier, Nepal President Poudel is calculatedly Delhi under the ruse of Chest infection treatment. ( Get well soon Mr. President).

Rumors have it that Mr. Poudel is Indian choice and preference. Some even say that Poudel has been awarded by India for having worked in favor of submitting the entire Mahakali River to India while he was the Parliamentary Speaker.

Then comes K. P. Oli whose tacit linkages with the RAW Chief Samanta Kumar Goyal no longer are a secret.

# As of Madhav Nepal, he is the one who demanded that the Indian military men should be invited to “tame” King Birendra. His party General Secretary scolded him for his anti-national idea floated in the party in the 1990s.

High placed sources say and believe that Mr. Nepal is at times more Indian than Rahul Gandhi and Shyam Saran.

# Sher Bahadur Deuba is the one who was declared “incompetent” by former King Gyanendra and out of anger, Deuba is supposed to have begun serving the Indian regime.

# Jhal Nath Khanal reportedly prefers China but has India bend presumably.

# Finally, some more leaders of second rank too have been serving India for financial gains, reportedly. The list may go long and we have limited space.

# The King did wrong in that he did no wrong eventually. The King was wrong in that he did not bow down to the Indian dictates and saved Nepal from several and continued Indian onslaughts.

That’s all.
