6^th Made in Pakistan Exhibition was inaugurated today. Those who were present today,

2. H.E Mr. Arshad Saud Khoosa (Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Pakistan).
3. Mr. Arjun Bahadur Thapa (Secretary General SAARC).
4. Mr. Hem Ratna Shakya (President Handicrafts Association of Pakistan)
5. Mr. Abdur Rauf CH (Chairman  Fairs & Exhibitions RCCI)
6. Mr. Khurshid Barlas (Vice Chairman Fairs & Exhibitions)

The opening ceremony was attended by big number of media representatives, Embassies and general public.

The slogan of the expo is “Rebuild Nepal” in view of the destruction due to earth quake. The speakers appreciated the effort of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry for providing the platform for show casing the products and grass root level interaction to promote bilateral trade between two countries.

The Chairman (F & E) Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry emphasized that we are here in difficult period of Nepal due to earth quake and shortage supplies to show solidarity with our Nepalese friends.

Many different items of Pakistan origin are being show cased and a keen interest is being seen amongst visitors from different walks of life.

Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & industry also invited the local businessmen to hold similar events in Pakistan and assured to provide help and facilitation in this regard.

Before the speeches one minute standing silence was observed in honors of the departed souls of earth quake.
