The Maoists’ party headed by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ issuing a press statement has declared that the party will not allow India registered vehicles to ply in Nepal. The party decision also imposes ban on Indian movies, Indian Television channels and advertisements of Indian products in Nepal.

The party had organized a press meet in Kathmandu hosted by party spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Biswakarma- who while urging nationalists to support the party in its movement against India’s hegemonic and cruel attitude towards Nepal said, all movie theatres, cable television operators, satellite channel operators and advertisement agencies have been urged to stop showing Indian Movies, shows and advertisement of Indian products in the country.

“We are ready to shed our blood in our fight for Nepal’s sovereignty,” he said.

“The constitution promulgated by the three parties is anti-people but India has directly threatened our sovereignty thus keeping our differences aside we need to unite against India.”
