Srinagar, August 14 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, posters have again appeared in different areas of the territory, urging the people to observe the Indian Independence Day, (August 15) as a Black Day.
The posters displayed in different parts of the territory are aimed at registering a protest against India’s illegal occupation of their motherland since October 1947 and the illegal and brutal actions of the Modi-led fascist Indian government since August 5, 2019.
The posters with pictures of resistance leaders, including APHC Chairman Masarat Aalam Butt, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Aasiya Andrabi and Mushtaq-ul-Islam, said that the people of IIOJK had rejected the Indian illegal and military occupation and demanded immediate release of all illegally detained Kashmiri political leaders.
It further said that India had occupied Jammu and Kashmir against the will of the Kashmiri people and the Kashmiris would continue their struggle till complete freedom from the Indian yoke.
The posters also read slogans like “Indian Independence Day is a Black Day”, “We want freedom,” and “We reject Indian Independence Day.”
Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and the rest of the world are all set to observe ‘Black Day’ on Monday to convey their extreme resentment and indignation over the continued unlawful and forcible occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by India.
