The coming September 9 is the 73th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea .

The great leader Comrade KIM IL SUNG founded the DPRK on September 9, 1948, in conformity with the unanimous will of all the Korean people. This was a historic event which declared the birth of a genuine country of the people, the first of its kind in the 5000-year-long history of the nation.

The Korean style socialism built by the great leader Comrade KIM IL SUNG is a people-centered socialism in which people are the master of everything and everything serves for the people.

The great leader Comrade KIM JONG IL made our Republic a blessed home for the people and defended the socialist Korea and laid solid foundations for the lasting prosperity.

Today our Republic is shining more brilliantly as the genuine country for the people with no comparison in the world under the leadership of Comrade KIM JONG UN, president of the State Affairs of the DPRK.

Comrade KIM JONG UN declared that the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the guiding ideology of our party and state is, in essence, the people-first-principle, thus clearly indicating the people-oriented characteristics of our state and setting forth a strategy for further strengthening and developing our Republic into a genuine country of the people.

Our Republic is a true world for the people which provides them in the most thorough way with the position and role of being the master of the state and society.

In our society, in which the popular masses are the master of politics, anyone can enjoy the equal political rights and freedom and take part in the state activities with high sense of responsibility.

Our Republic is a true home which absolutely ensures the safety and happiness of the people.
