Today, His Excellency Wei Fenghe, Minister of Defense of China, has arrived in Nepal on a one-day visit. We, the pro-China policy Nepalese, are very happy with his arrival in Nepal. On this happy occasion, we warmly welcome and felicitation to His Excellency Wei Fenghe, Minister of Defense in Nepal. Due to the policy of the Government of Nepal, we could not go to the airport to welcome and felicitate to His Excellency the Minister of Defense Wei Fenghe. The Government of Nepal has unannouncedly banned from welcoming and felicitating to Chinese leaders and officials. Chairman of the Greater Nepal Nationalist Front, Phanindra Nepal, who went at the airport this morning with a banner to welcome His Excellency Wei Fenghe, Minister of Defense, was arrested and kept in a cold cell at Gaushala Metropolitan Police Division. He was released on bail on my (Nepal-China Mutual Co-operation Society, President, Prem Sagar Paudel) initiative after hearing the news of his arrest by the police and on the two-time direct order of the Home Minister. While leaving Mr. Nepal, the police said that they had arrested him as per the order not to allow doing anything to protest or support for the Chinese defense minister. This confirms that the Nepalese government, fearful of China's growing influence at the grassroots level, is systematically mobilizing anti-China directives against the supporters of the One-China Policy.
