Foreign Ministers from Nepal’s immediate neighbours, India and China will also be attending the International Conference on Nepal’s reconstruction scheduled for June 25, 2015.

The United Nations has already sent its high level representatives for the conference and minister level representation has been confirmed from Norway, Japan, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Reports confirm that Chairman of Asian Development Bank and Vice Chairman of World Bank have already confirmed their presence at the conference.

There shall be participation from bilateral donor countries such as Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, United Kingdon, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Saudi Development Fund, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Netherland, USA, Poland, India, New Zealand, confirms the ministry of Finance.

The Foreign Ministry sources confirms that the ministry shall receive final confirmation from Malaysia, Qatar, Afghanistan, Canada, Czech Republic, Indonesia, Kuwait Fund, Luxemburg, Maldives, Pakistan, Russia, Spain, Turkey and UAE by Tuesday.

The former US President Jimmy Carter, Hollywood Actor Leonardo Di Caprio and British Actress Joan Lumle will also be taking part in the conference.

The government of Nepal will be seeking fund from its international development partners in through the conference.
