The Nepali Congress central committee member Dr. Shekhar Koirala has asked the government to stop looking towards Tarai-Madhesh through the Indian lenses.

“Extreme nationalism and Madhesi extremism is pushing the nation towards precipice”, claimed Koirala.

Koirala is also a medical practitioner.

“I would like to ask the government to stop looking towards Tarai-Madhesh through the Indian lenses”, he said.

The Southern Neighbor always considered Nepal as its prerogative but fresh changes in Nepal and lately its economic blockade has limited India to Nepal’s Southern plains.

The Nepali Congress is traditionally taken as a pro-India political party as it has always taken anti-national, presumably, stands on every issues of national interest.

Dr. Shekhar made the remark addressing a program in the district of Baglung.

Koirala also claimed in the course of his speech that the government headed by KP Sharma Oli is the worst in the entire history of the country.
