With the signing of Trade and Transit Agreement with China, Nepal will no longer depend on India- the country that is known for repeatedly imposing economic blockade on Nepal, for third country imports. With this Nepal has liberated from the Indian clutches. Thanks Nepali leaders learnt lessons from the fresh blockade imposed by India.
China will also open branches of one of its largest banks in Nepal.
Prime Minister Oli has already met with the Chinese President Xi Jinping. President Xi in the meeting hoped that Nepal would return to normal political situation following the drafting of the new constitution.
