Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Oli in Pokhara held a one on one meeting with India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. Indian Secretary of External Affairs S. Jayashankar and Ambassador to Nepal Ranjeet Rae were also not present in the meeting.

Swaraj is currently in town to attend the SAARC Foreign Ministerial Level meeting.

The meeting took place at Shangrila Hotel where issues related to bilateral relationship between the two countries were discussed, reports quote Prime Minister’s political advisor Bishnu Rimal as saying.

No other details of the meeting were revealed to the media yet.

It is likely that Sushma might have inquired about the impending visit of Prime Minister Oli to China and it is possible that she might have expressed her unhappiness over series of agreements Nepal is all set to sign with China.
