Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Poverty Alleviation Chitra Bahadur K.C claims that the southern neighbor India is hell bent on ousting the current government in Nepal.
“It will not be a surprise if this government is ousted because the southern neighbor does not want it to continue for long”, he said.
K.C is the chairperson of Rastriya Janmorcha Party.
The veteran communist leader was talking to media persons at an interaction program in Bhaktapur.
“In the making and breaking of all governments the neighbor is actively involved”, he said.
The current government was formed against the interest of the neighbor, he said and continued, and, thus it is actively engaged in derailing the present government.
In the recently concluded general assembly of Nepali Congress nowhere did it mention the economic blockade imposed by India, this also tells in detail that the party also wants change in government.
“The new constitution was amended only seventeen days after we promulgated as per the wishes of the neighbor. Nepal is thus not a fully independent country”, he said.
