Opportunity for development, not rebellion

Opportunity for development, not rebellion

The US-China power struggle was in 1974 and is still in 2022. The independence of Tibet and Taiwan is the main issue between the two powers.  After the Nepal Army summoned the Tibetan rebel Gay Wangdi and his group on September 15, 1974, no major problems arose between the United States and China.

It is only natural that the power conflict will escalate as China makes great strides in the economic and military spheres and becomes a world power.  China moved forward with BRI policy, US came up with MCC strategy. The G7 is another important campaign in world economic politics.

After Nepal's communists demanded an MCC plan from the United States for their own security, the United States gave that ?? 50 million plan to Nepal.  This plan has caused a rift in Nepal's India-China-US relations.

Diplomatic relations were established between Nepal and the United States on April 25, 1947. The embassy was opened in 1959. Some experts conclude that this 75-year-long relationship is now a cornerstone of Nepal's peace, prosperity, stability and democratization.  But Chinese supporters are skeptical of Nepal's democratization due to Nepal's participation in the MCC and increased US military ties.

Although there are communists who demand MCC, there are communists who take to the streets against MCC, there are also communists who pass MCC on the terms of MCC. For the first time since 2012, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Jiya Ujra arrived to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Nepal-US relations and to develop the relationship.  From June 9 to 12 US Army Pacific Chief of Staff C.A.Flynn, The visit has been completed.

The United States has long called for cooperation in the SPP, this time around. The communists are very angry that an agreement is about to be reached.

The communists are saying that if there is a US military presence in Nepal against China, the US will use Nepali land against China.  These are the same communists, intellectuals who, until the MCC was passed, were called traitors overnight and then the water bubble disappeared..

There are communists in the government.  The decisions made by the government are the responsibility of the five-party alliance.  need help,  need to protest, the people must be confused, why are the communists wearing seasonal tunics.  Why don't the people's representatives hold in-depth discussions in the parliament?  Why did China's concern suddenly arise for Nepali communists?  They are even more concerned about the US trying to liberate Taiwan.

Hiranya Lal Shrestha, a pro-communist intellectual, a member of the Diplomatic Council and a former ambassador to Russia, says the MCC's passage, the fact that it is part of the APS and the visit of a large number of US troops, have raised suspicions that Nepali land will be misused.  As China has already set up an army base in Solomon Islands, it seems that preparations are underway against each other.  The state of conflict is reflected.  India's weakness, Kashmir, China's weakness Tibet, Sri Lanka's Jaffna, Nepal's Terai and Mustang are sensitive areas.  Nepal is a strategic place for geopolitics.  It is a suitable place.  The US looks at China through IPS, China looks at it through Chundu Army Base.  IPR chief visiting Everest, having lunch, Assistant Deputy Minister Jia Ujra interacting directly with Tibetan refugees and raising suspicions that the MCC implementation has led to militarization seem to be trying to put Nepal in the role of US-China Cold War.

India and China remained neutral in the Russia-Ukraine war.  India does not go against Russia because it is importing oil from Russia.  India will not go against the US because of nuclear weapons.  Despite border disputes like Nathula, Arunachal, Galwan, Pangong and Demchok, India and China are together in BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Corporation.

Nepal remained neutral on the issue of expelling Ukraine from the Human Rights Commission.

While the US is focusing more on Nepal, no program is seen in India.

Russia, China, India are trying to pull the American polar world politics towards a multi-polar one.  That is why there is a intense conflict between the US, Russia and China at this time.

Conflict is also in economic, strategic, diplomatic, technology.  If China's pace cannot be stopped, the fear that it will overtake the United States in the next 10 years may have prompted the United States to try to stop it from overtaking Nepal.  There may also be a war strategy.

But Hiranya Lal Shrestha, a Chinese expert, says:

As a 75-year relationship with Nepal.  The relationship between the armies of the two countries must be enhanced.  It is Indo-Pacific to look at Nepal, it is not bad for a commander to come and have a discussion.  Joint exercise is going on.  Military assistance is coming to the Nepal Army.  Rescue boats have been provided.  The peacekeeping force is being trained.  It is better to increase military ties by sitting on the border.  There should be a relationship for commercialization by increasing military qualifications and capabilities.  It is not bad for the army to learn new technologies.  In the early years, many Nepali peacekeepers died.  The peacekeepers did not suffer any major damage after the Americans gave training in Hetauda to remove the traps.  The Nepal Army cannot train at its own expense.  The United States provided modern jeeps, trucks, Helicopters, airplanes and wireless sets to the Nepal Army in 2019.  Since then, the United States has become a development partner.  The US military has become a source of new technology on how to resist, counter-terrorism and rescue the military, and how to rescue those in distress.  That is why the relationship of the past 75 years is multifaceted in terms of economic, political, tourism, social, military and technology.

It is important to understand that security was removed in the 12-point interpretation when the MCC was passed by the parliament.  When Nepal sent a question to clarify, the US said it was not for military purposes. This is also an expression of China's interest.  There is a trade and transit agreement between Nepal and China, there is participation in BRI, China has linked the land.  It should be understood that Nepal's power has increased due to this. Instead, Nepal can become a transit country not only for the north and south, but also for the west.  Let's wish Nepal good relations with all in the 21st century.

Even the provisions of Nepal's constitution cannot go against China.  Don't get caught up in the new Cold War.  Nepal must remain neutral in its diplomatic strategy. One should know how to stay safe in China policy.

The reality is that even geography and history do not allow Nepal to be with anyone.

Geopolitics, independence, sovereignty, non-alignment, even the provisions of the constitution cannot go to the any camp.

Financial support is needed for the modernization of the army.  Bilateral relations between the two armies should be enhanced.

The U.S. military and its envoys keep coming, not today.  Military records and information also confirm that the then Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru was forced to remain silent for the first time since 1962 when the Nepal Army was made technology-friendly and somewhat free from Indian influence.  This truth cannot be forgotten.

An incident of 75 years of relationship In 1965, the Nepal Army was given a seat in the first staff college, Major Arjun Narsingh Rana was the first Nepali to receive that training.  It is a case of breaking the monopoly of limited military training only in India. The United States was needed to stem the tide of communism and encroachment, which had worked to remove Indian influence and Indian checkpoints.

The Chinese side says that if US influence does not stop, US militarization will increase in the name of enhanced cooperation, strengthening institutional and technical capabilities, and strengthening defense and security partnerships.  The United States says that the 75-year-old relationship between Nepal and the United States should be further strengthened for the sake of sovereignty and the full purpose of the United Nations Charter.

There is no dispute that democratization and sovereignty should be protected in Nepal.
